A mid century modern classic. Two bays of Danish PS System modular wall units featuring a desk, bookshelf and 3 cabinets that have been fully restored and are in retail condition and ready to be enjoyed. This is about as good an example as you are likely to find!

This fantastic mid century modular system was designed by Preben Sørensen in the early 1950s and manufactured in Denmark by Randers Møbelfabrik. This is a wonderfully versatile system with many configurations possible. The teak cabinets and shelves are secured onto the wooden ladder supports with metal pins that enables you to easily adjust the heights and positions of each element without tools and expand and interchange different pieces in the future.

This double bay set comes with 3 teak cabinets, a desktop with drawer and one large shelf with drawers.

• A nice desk with drawer featuring solid wood handles
• A large base cabinet featuring sliding doors with solid wood handles, inside partitioned into two sections each with a shelf. These are removable.
• A top cabinet featuring sliding Solid wood doors with solid wood handles
  
• A top cabinet featuring sliding glass doors with a fantastic frosted bevelled glass design. Also has an internal shelf. A rare type of PS System cabinet. 
• A single large shelf with metal supports and two drawers underneath, one of the nicer and rarer shelf types for the PS system.
• Three ladders.
• The PS system labels inside the cabinets are present.

CONDITION REPORT

Sympathetically restored vintage condition. Retail condition and ready to go into a room. No major marks or damage to the tops of the cabinets with the exception of a faint ring on the front right corner of the large base cabinet (see picture). There is a small repair to the front corner of one of the shelf drawers (see pic). There are some very faint marks at the back edge of the desktop (see pic). All the glass is in excellent condition with no issues. The ladders are in excellent condition. Nothing is missing, all of the fixtures and fixings needed to install the unit are included. COLLECTION
