Beautiful metamorphic teak mid century desk/writing bureau by Jentique Furniture, UK. The interior of the bureau pops up when you pull the desktop forward to reveal a letter rack and two pigeon holes with lift up lifs complete with brass handles. Signature Jentique elongated  carved wood handles and height adjustable metal feet. Three graduated doors, the top two are half depth to accommodate the mechanism and the bottom one is full depth. The Jentique stamp is just visible on the back. Very versatile home office/Laptop station. Nice compact size, useful for modern living. The desk chair is not included in the sale. The item has been sympathetically restored to retain a nice patina and is now in fantastic vintage retail condition.

CONDITION REPORT

Sympathetically restored vintage retail condition. Ready to go into a room. No major marks or damage except for a couple of light and faint scratch on the rear left of the top (see picture). There are no wobbles or loose joints. The drawers and doors are aligned correctly and run true and easy and the mechanism works very well. The desktop raises and lowers with no issues or play. It will be a one man delivery service and assistance with unloading heavy/bulky items will be required. A two man delivery could be arranged, contact me for details. It is also possible for you to collect the item from Worthing, West Sussex (BN14). You can also arrange your own courier if you prefer.
