Metamorphic Sideboard/Drinks Cabinet in Teak by George Serlin & Sons / Sureline - Mid Century

Really nice 1950's fun and quirky metamorphic drinks cabinet from the golden age of the cocktail by George Serlin & Sons for Sureline. The fake bookcase rotates James Bond style to reveal a mirrored cocktail cabinet complete with bottle stores for full sized spirit bottles/wine bottles and a glassware shelf. Twin cupboards either end with removable shelves for glassware, or large enough to house 12" LP records if desired. Each cupboard door also has two racks of olive skewers for you martini. Just bring your period bar-ware for a real conversation piece at any party. Construed in teak.

CONDITION REPORT

Sympathetically restored vintage condition. Ready to go into a room. No major marks or damage to the wood. The doors are aligned correctly and close. The catches all work fine. The only issue is two of the faux books have been repaired (they are plastic, you would never tell!). It is missing its Sureline label but a quick google will suffice to reassure one of its origins. It will be a one man delivery service and assistance with unloading heavy/bulky items will be required. A two man delivery could be arranged, contact me for details. It is also possible for you to collect the item from Worthing, West Sussex (BN14). You can also arrange your own courier if you prefer.
