MID CENTURY CHEST OF DRAWERS BY ELLIOTTS OF NEWBURY  

Beautiful mid century tallboy style chest of drawers by classic British manufacturer Elliotts of Newbury. This piece is full of stunning 1950's/1960's design cues including attractive signature 'swallow tail' rosewood handles, hidden reeded top drawer and Zebrano fronted drawers. I particularly like the way the veneers line up across the whole front drawer section. This is a great storage space with clean interior and all drawers run smoothly. A really wonderful high quality piece of mid century design.

Elliotts of Newbury (EON) are a very interesting British company producing aircraft components for the Spitfire and Tiger Moth. They are known for interesting and unusual designs, with features including reeded drawers, striking handles utilising a variety of tropical hardwoods. EON furniture is relatively rare today, representing great British design and a great investment for the future.

CONDITION REPORT

Excellent restored vintage condition. The drawers run smoothly and are aligned correctly. The interior is nice and clean. No major marks or damage. Only a few minor blemishes.
