MID CENTURY HEADBOARD BY ELLIOTTS OF NEWBURY  

Beautiful mid century headboard with bedside tables by classic British manufacturer Elliotts of Newbury. This piece is full of stunning 1950's/1960's design cues including attractive signature 'swallow tail' rosewood handles, zebrano drawer fronts and black vinyl headrest. Also includes the removable/optional glass table tops. The item has been fully cleaned and refinished. A really wonderful high quality piece of mid century design. Very rare item.

Elliotts of Newbury (EON) are a very interesting British company producing aircraft components for the Spitfire and Tiger Moth. They are known for interesting and unusual designs, with features including reeded drawers, striking handles utilising a variety of tropical hardwoods. EON furniture is relatively rare today, representing great British design and a great investment for the future.

CONDITION REPORT

Excellent restored vintage condition. The drawers run smoothly and are aligned correctly. There is some slight cosmetic damage to one of the drawer fronts (right hand side). The interiors is nice and clean. No major marks or damage. Only a few minor blemishes to the tops of the bedside tables. The black vinyl is in near mint condition and has been fully cleaned. It has the original removable/optional glass table tops which are in excellent condition with no damage The item has been fully cleaned, oiled and waxed. Please click to enlarge pictures for best quality.
