Fully refurbished set of 4 G Plan Fresco dining chairs. New professional grade fire retardant black vinyl and brand new fire retardant foam sat pads. Fully restored solid teak frames, no wobbles or loose joints here, there is nothing worse than a wobble in dining chair. These have the earlier silver and red g plan label. Fantastic Danish inspired ladder back design. Nice high backs that sit elegantly in a room. You will not find a better set.

Why is new upholstery so important? Apart from the aesthetics and the "new car" feel of fresh fabrics, any mid century dining chair seat pad will almost certainly have degraded and crumbled (I have reupholstered plenty and they all degrade), the foam was just not meant to last 50-60 years. In addition, modern fabrics and foams are much more fire retardant and safe than original mid century fabrics.

CONDITION REPORT

Fantastic restored vintage condition. The frames are fully restored and bow string tight, there are no wobbles or loose joints. The wood has been cleaned and refinished. The black vinyl is brand new as are the foam seat pads. Professional upholstery grade fabrics and materials. Your item will be fully wrapped and protected and transported using my trusted and insured A-to-B furniture couriers. I do not use standard postal services. It will be a one man delivery service and assistance with unloading heavy/bulky items will be required. A two man delivery could be arranged, contact me for details.
